After several months since her feud with HYBE Labels started, Min Hee Jin has officially stepped down from her role as ADOR's internal director.
On November 20, Korean news outlet Sports Kyunghyang disclosed Min Hee Jin's statement announcing her resignation from ADOR and exit from HYBE.
"I would like to inform everyone that I'm resigning my position as ADOR's internal director. I am also terminating the shareholder agreement with HYBE and holding them accountable for the breaches inflicted on this agreement.
I will be taking legal action against several illegal acts perpetrated by HYBE officials. I have done everything I could to maintain the shareholder agreement and restore ADOR despite the seven-month dispute with HYBE since April.
However, I recognized that further efforts would be a waste of time since HYBE has not acknowledged its wrongdoings and shown any hints of change. I hoped HYBE would admit the mishaps it made and protect NewJeans. This is why I sent two whistleblowing emails in April."
"But instead of reflecting, HYBE committed an unforeseen act of foolishness by fabricating outrageous false news and displaying their shameful audit. I, a minority shareholder and CEO, was framed with the crazy accusation of taking over the management, alongside irrational attacks that are rarely heard from a large company."
Min Hee Jin also added that HYBE's actions this 2024 will never be forgotten in K-pop history. Min Hee Jin also claimed that despite the company's continuation of its mediaplay, she wasn't worried since the public is now aware of the conglomerate's manipulative patterns.
