ZEROSEs weren't having it with Mnet after the program had revised ZEROBASONE's "GOOD SO BAD" stage thumbnail at the 2024 MAMA Awards by omitting Ricky out from the frame.

On November 27, the topic trended in a community thread, titled, "Is it Real That Mnet Erased Ricky's Face on the Thumbnail?" The author then uploaded a screenshot of a before-and-after comparison of the previous thumbnail to the edited version.

In the first panel, Ricky was originally in the thumbnail, but nowhere to be found in the second panel. The revelation quickly incited anger among ZEROSEs, who blasted Mnet for mistreating Ricky.

One fan stated, "I need everyone to see the extent of Ricky's mistreatment, seriously, how is this even allowed? What did they gain from this edit?"

Fans also reasoned that if Mnet was aiming for a clean thumbnail, then it would've edited out Taerae too on the right side. Meanwhile, some were neutral towards the erasure.

Read their comments below:

  • "If they wanted it to look "clean," they would have removed Taerae too. What in the erasure?"
  • "If you're going to erase him, you should've removed both sides"
  • "I don't think this was malicious, but from a fans' perspective, this is kinda dumbfounding. MAMA is known for changing their thumbnails all the time."

However, it seems that Mnet has settled on the initial thumbnail for the group's "GOOD SO BAD" performance.
