GFRIEND's sudden announcement of its upcoming group activities has made waves across the K-pop community.
On December 2, GFRIEND officially announced the details of their much-awaited projects for their 10th anniversary reunion.
The third-gen K-pop act uploaded a teaser titled, "Season of Memories," and according to the clip, the group featured the K-pop classic, "Me Gustas Tu" as the background song.
The video then cuts with an announcement, disclosing that the group will drop a pre-release track on January 6, 2025, at 12 PM, KST, and an album scheduled for January 13, 2025, at 6 PM, KST.

This would mark GFRIEND's first album in four years since they released "Walpurgis Night" and its title track "MAGO" in November 2020.
This was then followed by a separate announcement revealing that GFRIEND will also perform a concert for their 10th anniversary.The group uploaded a concert teaser poster, showing the six members, namely Sowon, Yerin, Eunha, Yuju, SinB, and Umji threading across a snowy landscape.
The poster also relayed details for the upcoming concert and shared that GFRIEND will hold the show at the Olympic Hall, in Seoul, South Korea, from January 18, 2025 at 6 PM, KST, to January 18, 2025, at 5 PM, KST.
On social media, Buddies couldn't hold their excitement and tears for the group's upcoming reunion projects.
