Huening Kai may be the youngest member of Tomorrow X Together (TXT) but the maknae refuses to fall behind the other members of his group.

In a fan sign on Tuesday, the 22-year-old singer announced plans for a solo debut, following in the footsteps of Yeonjun, TXT's leader.

The video, shared by X user HNKMedia, revealed that the singer was striving for the lofty goal for 2025.

Yeonjun, the only member of TXT thus far to have made a solo debut, released his claim to fame with the single "GGUM" in September. He has also collaborated with girl group KATSEYE on a remix of their hit song "Touch," released in October.

"TXT's Yeonjun wrote his very own verse for this new feature. His lyrics add a unique touch to the overall feel of the track. We hope you enjoy this special remake," KATSEYE said in a statement on Weverse.

Huening Kai, who is also known to have a powerful pen, has writing credits on many TXT songs, including "Roller Coaster," "Blue Spring," and "Maze In The Mirror."

TXT released their latest project, their seventh mini-album The Star Chapter: SANCTUARY, and its lead single 'Over the Moon,' as a full group in November.
