Taemin's Biggest Venue Yet: Idol's Kia Forum Concert Sells Out in Record-Breaking 15 Minutes

SHINee Taemin Big Planet Made

SHINee Taemin's World Tour "EPHEMERAL GAZE" has sold out all its stops in the United States. But the most notable achievement was his Kia Forum venue — which has about 18,000 seating capacity — selling out concert tickets in only 15 minutes!

On December 13, ticket sales for the United States leg of Taemin's solo tour opened, which included the venues King's Theater (NYC), The Chicago Theater (Chicago), Smart Financial Centre (Houston), Paramount Theater (Oakland), and Kia Forum (Los Angeles).

In less than 20 minutes, all the stops were declared sold out, garnering immense praise from Shawols (SHINee fandom) and the K-pop community.

What was even more impressive was the quick selling out by just 15 minutes of the tickets for the Kia Forum stop, which has the capacity of 17,505 seats, Taemin's biggest concert venue yet.

It's also worth noting that the "WANT" hitmaker has sold over 70,000 tickets for his LATAM, Europe, and United States stops in less than two weeks.

Following this monumental feat, fans celebrated on social media and praised Taemin for his ticket selling power as a solo artist.

Meanwhile, some also sniped at Taemin's former label, SM Entertainment, and those that supposedly doubted the vocalist.

Taemin's World Tour "Ephemeral Gaze" kicked off on August 31 to September 1 in Incheon, with his final stop this 2024 in Manila last November.

The world tour will continue in Macau starting January 4, 2025, and will conclude in March in Paris.
