Actor Park Sung Hoon issued an apology after sharing a parody Japanese AV (adult video) cover of his show Squid Game 2 on his social media.
The parody cover, shared on December 30, featured multiple undressed women in sexually explicit scenes.
Park deleted the Instagram story quickly after posting, with a swift apology issued through his agency.

While some speculated that Park's account may have been hacked, his agency confirmed that the post was uploaded by Park himself.
"Park Sung Hoon received an overwhelming number of direct messages (DMs) on his social media. While checking the DMs, he accidentally uploaded the image," said a representative from his agency, BH Entertainment, on Park's behalf.
"The actor himself was deeply shocked and feels extremely sorry for making such a mistake, especially in these circumstances. He will be more careful in the future to ensure this does not happen again."
Park plays Hyun Joo, a transgender character working towards gender confirmation surgery, in Squid Game Season 2, which premiered on December 26th.
The actor came under fire for the post, which stirred up controversy for its NSFW content, especially as South Korea begins its week-long national mourning period following the tragic Jeju Air crash that happened the day before.
