SNSD's Seohyun's pitiful limping with a cane was captured in a video, which immediately caused worries among fans.
On Dec. 31, the 2024 KBS Drama Awards, which was supposed to air live on the same day, was canceled and was replaced with a recording.
The cancellation took place in respect of the one-week mourning of the nation with the bereaved families of the victims of the Jeju Air plane disaster, which took 179 precious lives.

During the pre-recording held at KBS Hall in Yeouido, Seoul, Seohyun hosted the ceremony, along with Jang Sung Kyu and Moon Sangmin. In leaked clips, the idol-actress donned a beautiful long white dress.
However, fans were surprised and were immediately concerened after Seohyun was caught limping with a cane, as seen in a video shared by online.
Despite this, the celebrity showcased her sharp MCing skills she earned in the industry for two decades and even greeted SONEs (SNSD's fandom), as per the spectators of the awards ceremony.

On Jan. 1, it was finally revealed that Seohyun got injured while filming for an upcoming drama before attending the ceremony, as per the outlet OSEN.
"It is true that she was injured while filming the drama. She is currently receiving treatment and recovering, and will soon return to filming the drama and join us," stated Namoo Actors, the idol's new label after leaving SM Entertainment.
Meanwhile, Seohyun got injured while filming KBS2's new drama, Taking the Male Lead's First Night, starring opposite 2PM's Ok Taecyeon.
