YOUNG POSSE member Jieun will temporarily halt her activities following her car accident injuries.
On Jan. 5, DSP Media released an official statement on YOUNG POSSE's official X (formerly Twitter) account, announcing the updates surrounding Jieun's future activities.
"We would like to inform everyone of YOUNG POSSE member Jieun's participation in the upcoming After School Club filming, which is scheduled on Tuesday, January 7," the agency said.

"Due to unfortunate circumstances, Jieun will be unable to attend the recording due to an injury sustained in a car accident last week."
The agency then assured that Jieun is now almost "fully recovered" and is expected to return to her upcoming schedules. The agency added, "Thank you for your deep understanding, and we will do our best to provide support to Jieun's full recovery. Thank you."
YOUNG POSSE's fans, TELEPOSSEs, quickly gathered in the thread to express their worries and send comforting words to the idol. Meanwhile, some fans insisted the agency let Jieun take her time recovering before engaging in any schedule.
"Jieun, please rest well and take all of the time you need," a fan commented.
A second one shared, "I hope she's okay and not going through any other serious problems."
"Don't rush Jieun into schedules, let her take her time," a third one said.
In other news, YOUNG POSSE ranked No. 15 on the brand reputation rankings for rookie idol groups in December 2024. The list included 30 K-pop groups who were ranked for their media exposure and fan engagement, and YOUNG POSSE claimed the spot with a brand index of 186,735.
YOUNG POSSE debuted on Oct. 18, 2023, with their first mini album Macaroni Cheese. The group has since been admired for its old-school hip-hop vibe, which is deemed a standout in K-pop.
