SM Entertainment's new girl group, SMNGG 2025, hasn't officially debuted yet, but that didn't stop fans from digging deep and unearthing details about its members.

On January 12, SPOTV NEWS reported that SM's upcoming girl group will debut in February. The reveal was made during SMTOWN Live 2025, which was held at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul.

During the event, a trailer was shown to the audience and revealed that the group's name would be Hearts2Hearts. It also reported that the group will have eight members and will be the company's first girl group in five years since aespa's 2020 debut.

In the trailer, SM introduced the members in a nostalgic video reminiscing the agency's early Y2K vibe. The girls were also shown playing games, posing across hallways, and dancing a group choreography.

The company is yet to release any official details regarding the members, but social media sleuths and SM fans, also known as Pink Bloods, couldn't help but research more about SM's highly-anticipated girl group.

On X (formerly Twitter), fans were able to find subtle crumbs of information about the members due to the company's lack of official details. Netizens also uncovered an alleged leaker's post claiming that the girl group will have four Koreans and four foreigners.

Some managed to identify six out of eight members, namely Jooeun, who gained attention for her resemblance to aespa's Karina, alongside Haram, Carmen, Jiwoo, Yuna, and Nayeon.

Notably, Carmen will be SM's first-ever Indonesian K-pop idol.
