In his first interview in over a decade, T.O.P revealed how he incorporated his musical artistry into his role in Netflix's blockbuster thriller series Squid Game 2.
Released in December, the former BIGBANG member took on the character of Thanos, a failed rapper who hit rock bottom after falling victim to a coin scam.
Despite facing mixed reviews about his acting and casting, the celebrity managed to win over fans with his "Beauty Flower" rap, which has since blossomed into a viral sensation across social media.

The viral scene unfolded during the "Red Light, Green Light" game, when Thanos (T.O.P), who developed a crush on Kang Mina (Song Ji Woo), attempted to impress her with his impromptu rap.
The verse, written by the director, was longer, but T.O.P proposed trimming it down, revealing with SBS Entertainment News.
Here's the rap's final version:
"You and me together, yeah I feel the power. Found her hidden in the weeds, yeah, my beauty flower. Red, orange, yellow, green—I'm a legend, Thanos. Blue, green, light me up, Green Light. I like you!"
He didn't stop there; he cranked up the silliness and awkwardness of the verse to fully embody the "loser" vibe of his character.
As he discussed his lyric-writing process, T.O.P revealed that he predicted his rap would become viral, which prompted him to adjust the lyrics for the younger viewers.
"I thought that the point of the rap was to emphasize the cringeworthy elements befitting a hip-hop loser. 'Squid Game' might be R-19+, but I knew that it would be likely to spread among (Instagram) Reels and YouTube (Shorts), giving the younger audience access to it," the male icon said.
"I hope that this scene will become a meme that even elementary and middle school students could imitate. This is why I wrote each sentence as straightforward and intuitive."
