ITZY's Yeji is set to make her solo debut in the first half of 2025.
Her label JYP Entertainment confirmed reports that she's in the midst of preparations for her solo debut on January 17.
"Yeji is preparing to become the first member of ITZY to make her solo debut," the agency said.

"The exact timing [of her solo debut] has not yet been decided. We will announce the concrete schedule at a later date."
Hwang Ye Ji, known as Yeji, debuted with the girl group ITZY, in 2019 with their debut single album, It'z Different, and lead single "Dalla Dalla."
The group leader, Yeji unveiled her first unofficial solo track in January 2024, when she released "Crown On My Head." The track was later included in ITZY's eighth EP, Born to Be.
ITZY returned for a highly anticipated comeback in October 2024, releasing their ninth mini-album Gold with a matching title track and "Imaginary Friend."
