D.O. has officially confirmed EXO's preparations for a full-group comeback.
Korean news outlet OSEN released an exclusive interview with the "Rose" singer, who was asked about EXO's updates.
The interviewer also brought up the topic that his bandmates Suho and Chanyeol were the only EXO members present at SM Entertainment's 30th-anniversary concert.
"Will we be able to see EXO as a complete group?" the interviewer asked.
"Of course," D.O. responded. "We are going to start preparing now. There's no reason to worry since we're starting now."
The singer was also asked about specific details regarding the group's comeback release. D.O. shared, "I don't think it will be (released) this year, but it will be as soon as possible."
He mentioned that the individual schedules of EXO members were being considered.
"We have to take everyone's schedules into account. I think the preparations will start this year."
EXO debuted on April 8, 2012, which can only mean that the group will also be approaching their 13th debut anniversary in 2025. Despite EXO's obstacles through the years, the group persisted by staying strong and releasing good music.
The idol highlighted EXO's unbreakable bond, "EXO is still alive and well, and (some members) are just in different agencies. But I don't think there's anything different about the process of preparations, since all preparations related to EXO are done through SM. "
