EXO's D.O. may be quiet but the singer reveals that his style leans more towards retrospection and self-awareness, especially when it comes to dating.
In a guest appearance on comedian Lee Yong Jin's YouTube channel, the idol gave a rare glimpse into his perspective when it comes to courting and fostering healthy relationships.
The "That's Okay' singer explained that he prefers a "No Obsession" approach, where he does his utmost best to respect both his and his girlfriend's boundaries.
Lee Yong Jin, curious about the introvert's approach to romance, prodded on his typical dating philosophy.
D.O. was quick to admit his weak spots.
"I don't know how to flirt. If I like someone, I just say so," he said, revealing his blunt nature.
The dating style, unsurprising to hardcore EXO fans, line up with his personality.
"I have no obsession, and I prefer each person to have their own space."
Inquiring further on D.O.'s concept of "personal space," Lee Yong Jin asked whether it would be okay to not contact each other for up to three days.
D.O. simply nodded to confirm his lax and easy-going approach.
Further along in the interview, the "Call Me Baby" singer revealed that he is working on a new album, set for release this summer. D.O., who made his acting debut in 2014 with a supporting role in the movie Cart, has also wrapped up a new film Secret: Untold Melody, slotted for release on January 27.
Using tarot cards to predict the trajectory of D.O.'s future, Lee Yong Jin prophesized that D.O.'s character Yoo Jun in Secret: Untold Melody would be adored by viewers and open up the path for more exciting opportunities in the future.
