(G)I-dle's Minnie, turns out, is not only a dancing and singing machine but also an advertising mastermind.
The artist, who dropped her solo album HER on January 21, collaborated with NCT's Jaemin on a dance challenge for the title track, "Her."

Dance challenges have been an advertising force in music rollouts, thanks to the popularization of short-form video content.
Choreography for dance challenges is typically easy to learn as they're meant to viral on social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, and X, leading to better charting, reaching a larger audience, and increased plays.
Idols, such as BTS' J-Hope, have participated in dance challenges, whether it's to promote their own music or to participate simply for fun.
Recently, BLACKPINK's Jennie spoke out about her lack of participation in dance challenges, expressing her disappointment that she'd never received an invitation to be part of one.
"I've never properly done a challenge before. No one has ever asked me to do one with them," Jennie said in an interview with the Ssook Ssook Youtube team.
After learning that idols often film dance challenges in music show hallways, she felt more let down.
"Every time I go, there's no one in the hallway. Am I just going on days when no one is there? I was hoping someone would ask me to do one together, but no one ever did," she said.
