Girls’ Generation proved that they can make a big splash in the States. The group arrived from South Korea on Monday, January 30th unsure how K-Pop will land in America.

Within less than a week during their stay they have proven that K-Pop is here to stay. From their official US television debut on both “Late Show” and morning on “Live! With Kelly.” Both performances have left a long lasting impression.

Kelly Ripa described the reaction of fans regarding Girls’ Generation appearance on the show. It’s without a doubt K-Pop has expanded beyond Asia and now have landed in American shores.

Their US single “The Boys” reached No. 2 on the Billboard’s World Albums chart on January 17.
