Girl group T-ara has been selected to feature in the ads for "Original Chicken." According to the group's agency, T-ara's contract with the chicken company tops the compensation received previously by all idol groups who have been featured in chicken ads. This includes a guarantee of a billion won and royalty on a store by store basis.

"Original Chicken" chose T-ara as their spokesperson as the girl group has acquired mass appeal across all age groups through their hit songs "Roly-Poly," "Cry Cry," "We had been in love", and "Lovey-Dovey".

T-ara and "Original Chicken" are planning to do something different from other typical chicken ads in order to reach out to consumers more personally. One of these plans includes T-ara holding a signing event at an "Original Chicken" store.

In addition, "Original Chicken" is working hard to create a dish that will represent the seven unique members of T-ara and is aspiring to launch its products into the foreign market as well.

With the upcoming release of its third Japanese single "Roly-Poly" on the 29^th, T-ara is planning to wrap up its schedule in Korea by the 16^th and head over to Japan to promote their new album.
