A week into the year and we've already seen a number of upcoming Android phones in 2014. And if you are particularly on the hunt for the more affordable ones, then this new set of phones surely would not disappoint.

In a report by GSM Arena, phone maker BLU has recently unveiled a number of devices which would surely fit your budget.

First up on the list is the Life One X, which is powered by a quad-core 1.5GHz CPU, 2GB of RAM, a 13MP primary camera and a 5MP front facer that are both capable of 1080p video recording, and most connectivity features like Bluetooth, GPS, and Wi-Fi. It boasts a 5-inch screen with 1080p resolution, and options for 16GB (priced at $279) or 32GB ($299) model.

Next is the midranger Life One M which boasts the same display size but with downgraded resolution, the same quad-core 1.5GHz CPU, 12MP and 5MP snappers at the back and front, and only 1GB of RAM. However, at only $199, the Life One M is certainly a looker especially for budget consumers.

The Life Play X is next as it flaunts its 4.7" display with 720p resolution, and most of the Life One M's specs except the 4GB of internal memory. The Life Play X comes with a bigger 16GB internal memory, which explains the bigger pricetag, although not by much - $219.

Right next is BLU's only entry-level Droid in the list, but it still packs a punch that is difficult to ignore. The Life Play S has the same display as the Play X, but with a downgraded CPU (1.3GHz MediaTek processor), and a Mali-400 GPU for discrete graphics performance.

Last but definitely not the least is the 8-inch BLU Life View Tab. As the only tablet in the bunch, it offers great value for your money at only $199. However, it still packs decent specs including 1024 x 768 screen resolution, a 1.2GHz quad-core processor, a 5MP camera on both sides, 16GB of internal memory and 1GB of RAM.
