On May 11 broadcast of tvN 'E News', Im Yoon Taek answered 'Yes' when he was asked "do you have a girlfriend?"

Im Yoon Taek said, "Before, when I would date girls, I would tell them 'it's going to be hard for me to even watch a movie on a weekend', and that's why they left.” When the MC asked "does your current girlfriend cope well with that?" he answered, "She has a hard time also.”

He added, "My mom even called her up asking her to not leave me. I will work hard and care more for her from now on. I believe that people are more important than music."
