Leeteuk changed his phone number.

On May 17, Yoon Jong Shin posted on his twitter, "Ah, I think I'm becoming stupid lately" along with a capture of a text message conversation.

The conversation was with Leeteuk, and he said "Bright, sunny day Leeteuk changed his phone number! Please save it."

On April 1st, in celebration of April Fools’ Day, Leeteuk revealed his phone number except for the last 3 numbers. At this, fans guessed that because Leeteuk's username is 'special1004', his phone number must include 1004 in it, and incorrectly guessed Lee Teuk's number, brought out a normal person to be victimized causing Leeteuk inconvenience.

Leeteuk had said that he will keep the number he revealed. On April 3, he wrote "I will keep my number. I will make this a place where I connect with my fans. I will let you know when I change my number."

Internet users who found out about Leeteuk changing his number wrote, "What happened to connecting with your fans?", "I'm sad he changed his number", "Nice try", and "It was good seeing you connecting with your fans.”
