Voting Now Open For The KpopStarz Year End K-Pop Awards + Current Rankings

It's that time of year again. As we kick off December we also call on our readers to weigh in on the best artists and songs of the year.

The polls for the KpopStarz year-end awards were launched Dec. 1 and the standings thus far are as follows:

In the category of "Best Rookie Group" JYP Entertainment's sensational girl group, TWICE, holds a significant lead over the competition with 45.31% of the votes. Pledis Entertainment's 13-member boy group, SEVENTEEN comes in second with 12.47% of the votes and JYP's only rock band, DAY6, comes in third with 12.19% of the votes.

YG Entertainment's rookie sensation, iKON, comes in fourth with 9.83% of the votes. GFRIEND comes in at fifth, holding a slight lead over MONSTA X, with 6.55% of the votes while Starship Entertainment's rookie group comes in sixth with 5.73% of the votes. FNC's rookie band, N.Flying, takes seventh with 3.55% of the votes while Oh My Girl comes in eighth with 2% of the votes. With 1.46% of the votes CLC takes ninth place in the rankings and UP10TION rounds out the top ten with 0.91% of the votes.

In the category of "Best Artist," TVXQ's U-Know Yunho claims the number 1 spot with 47.45% of the votes while his band-mate, Max Changmin, takes second with 19.28%. 2PM's Chansung comes in third with 4.93% of the votes while his band-mates Jun.K, Wooyoung, Junho, Taecyeon and Nickhun claim positions 4-8 with just over 2% of the votes each. CNBLUE's front-man, Jung Yong Hwa, claims number 9 with 1.1% of the votes but GOT7's BamBam is hot on his heels, coming in with 1.09% of the votes and the final spot in the top ten in this category.

In the category of "Best Group," TVXQ holds a significant lead over the competition, raking in 48.32% of the votes. 2PM comes in second with 23.72% of the votes while BTS claims11.38% of the votes and the number three spot in the rankings.

GOT7 comes in fourth with 6.34% of the votes, giving them a fairly significant lead over fifth place SHINee, who claims 1.84% of the votes. A mere 0.13% separates BIGBANG and SHINee which just goes to show you how fierce the competition is among the top ten ranking artists. With 1.52% of the votes, CNBLUE comes in at seventh while Girls' Generation claims eight place with 1.03% of the votes. INFINITE takes ninth place with 0.97% of the votes and FT Island rounds out the top ten with 0.76% of the votes.

In the cateogry of "Best Song," 2PM's "My House" takes the lead with 33.63% of the votes but BTS's "I Need U" is closing the gap between first and second coming in with 20.63% of the votes. Super Junior's "Magic" claims the number 3 position with 13% percent of the votes while GOT7's "Just Right" rakes in 10.34% of the votes, landing the song in fourth.

SHINee's "View" takes fifth with 3.5% of the votes while BIGBANG's "Bang Bang Bang" comes in sixth with 2.91% of the votes. Jung Yong Hwa's "One Fine Day" claims 2.71% of the votes and the seventh position while EXO's "Love Me Right" takes eighth with 2.46%. INFINITE's "Bad" comes in ninth with 1.95% of the votes and f(x)'s "4 Walls" grabs 1.16% of the votes and the final position in this category's top ten.
