Epik High To Give Coachella 2016 A Taste Of Korean Hip-Hop

This year's Coachella will have a Korean spin to it, literally.

Korean hip hop trio Epik High will be making their way to California in April to perform at the highly acclaimed music festival. The final line up for Coachella 2016 was revealed by the festival organizers on Monday, revealing Epik High's name in the lineup for the final day of each weekend of the festival.

Epik High is listed as playing shows on April 17 and April 24.

Along with Epik High, arguably the most popular Korean hip-hop act today, Korean-American DJ Tokimonsta is also slotted to play the same day.

Coachella 2016 will be headlined by LCD Soundystem, Guns N' Roses, and Calvin Harris. The festival will take place over two weekends, April 15-17 and April 22-24. The same artists will perform at both days, indicating that Epik High will perform at least two shows during the festival.

This is the first news of Epik High heading to the United States since the end of their 2014 North American tour. YG Entertainment, Epik High's company, has yet to release any information regarding Epik High's plans for 2016.

Epik High debuted in 2003 under Woollim Entertainment. The group moved to YG Entertainment in 2012, and currently manage the subsidiary label HIGHGRND.
