Maybe they just wanted to blow out the candles. Last night, March 23, Marie Bargas' premiere broadcast on North American Psychic and Paranormal Network (NAPPN) was interrupted by what some witnesses are calling demonic interference. The Los Angeles celebrity psychic's debut on the network as the Queen of Hearts was supposed to be light, focusing on love readings, before the lights came on.
The psychic reader, who is also the managing editor of Entertainment 2morrow, was doing a birthday reading on her partner at the magazine, Den of Geek contributing editor Tony Sokol, when viewers in the chat room noticed that the curtain backdrop was moving.
Bargas, who predicted on Nov 11, 2016 that Moonlight would win the best picture Oscar on NBC's Extra! in a segment called "Hollywood Tomorrow," initially brushed off the activity as something other than paranormal, until a chat guest named Guardian posted that his television set came on by itself. The room, which was filled with psychics from NAPPN offering support for the "Retrograde Renegade's" debut, soon exploded with chat comments on growing visible spectral evidence. Bargas continued with her regularly scheduled intuitive readings for love and romance, and began to channel messages about a toxic relationship when she lost control of the show to uninvited guests.
Reverend Chickie Haute, the owner of the North American Psychic and Paranormal Network, broke into the broadcast to begin audio tests for spectral presence. Some of the guests posted that they heard what sounded like growling when Bargas decided it was time to take back the airwaves.
The former Hollywood Witch who put the chic in psychic broke out a votive candle and a weathered book and began to intone prayers of exorcism in their original Latin. Within moments, it appeared that blue lights were emanating from the candle's wick. Bargas passed this off as a camera glitch until it became apparent that the balls of light followed no discernable pattern that could be passed off as a video reflection. They were orbs.
Orbs are image artifacts, usually coming from flash photography and compact digital cameras that catch unnoticed dust. In paranormal terms, Marie's globe-shaped anomaly was immediately identified as some kind of spirit orb. It was blue, which is usually associated with psychic energy, truth and spiritual guidance. Bargas later pointed out in a Facebook posting that the "blue diamond" behind her was Shiva, the Hindu deity she intuitively calls upon for protection.
Upon posting the photo to Facebook, Bargas was contacted by her former client and perennial mentor Zsuzsanna Budapest, who publicly posted "Hello Marie! Congratulations on your ascendance! Blessed be" to the page. Zsuzsanna is an iconic modern witch, born in Hungary, who currently presides over the Women's Spirituality Forum. The founder of the Dianic Tradition, Budapest's writings are among the most influential in Wiccan thinking and beyond.
Bargas says she is accustomed to having photographable phenomena. An elephant silhouette, representing Hindu deity Ganesha, is visible in the fire in a photo taken at the Shirdi Saibaba Temple in Tarzana that was taken the night Bargas met celebrated Shaman Lynn Andrews to learn the medicine wheel.
NAPPN has been broadcasting live psychic and paranormal presentations with an interactive chat room audience since 2009. NAPPN i-TV has been the launching pad for many well-known paranormal groups and psychics.
Bargas also hosts the weekly radio program Magick Lab Academy on SOC Radio on Wednesdays. The Los Angeles based psychic adviser, writer and creative producer majored in film studies at Scripps College. She began her media career as a "Vampire Expert" on Entertainment Tonight. She transformed into the Hollywood Witch 2012 - 2013 when her life was optioned for a reality TV show about real witches. The Retrograde Renegade made appearances on the Fine Living Network, the Love and Sex Report with Millionaire Matchmaker - Patti Stanger and was a contributing writer to LA Story.
