The four celebs visited the Gyeongbokgung Palace together. Gaten and Caleb even dressed up in hanbok or traditional Korean dress. Their stroll along the Palace and casual conversation were broadcasted on VLive. Caleb also took to his Instagram account to share his group photo with Gaten, Suho, and Kai, all-smiles.

He wrote in the caption, "It's our first time in Korea!" He also didn't forget to mention the individual Instagram account of  Gaten, as well as EXO's, Netflix Korea's and Strangers Things'. Several hashtags were also inserted in his post such as "Stranger Things 3," "Korea," "Be Your Biggest Fan," and "Embrace Your Face." 

Later that day, the four stars graced the red carpet event, prepped by Netflix, for Stranger Things' upcoming and most-anticipated third season. The well-attended affair was held in Yeongdeungpo Times Square in Seoul.

Meanwhile, prior to finally meeting in the flesh, Gaten and Caleb hinted through an Instagram post that they would be hanging out with the K-Pop superstars as they were slated to visit Seoul to promote the new season of the show. On Caleb's account, they announced the would-be meet-up in a clip, whilst also tagging EXO's junior group and labelmate NCT 127. 

"Hey guys, we're headed to Korea in a few days, can you guess who we'll be hanging with? Stay tuned to [NCT 127] to see!" The caption read.

One fun fact is that Caleb already met NCT 127 backstage when the boy group held their concert in Atlanta in April this year. Sadly, the 10-piece boy band was not able to meet with them this time as they were not in the country during the dates of the Stranger Things stars' visit.

As a response, NCT 127 posted a video message for the two.

"We were very happy that Caleb came to our concert in Atlanta, and I hope that you enjoyed that K-pop experience. But this time, though we may not be able to see each other, I hope you guys have fun at the EXO concert, and I hope that you enjoy another K-pop experience."

Meanwhile, EXO's Suho and Kai reciprocated Gaten and Caleb's announcement through a clip posted on EXO's official Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook, expressing their excitement to meet the two Netflix stars.

"We would love to meet you in Korea, and we really love Stranger Things! I can't wait for you guys to get here. See you soon!" The EXO members said.
