Netizens Comment That Cha Eunwoo's Facial Expressions Are Awkward

These days, netizens are scrutinizing singer-actor Cha Eunwoo for his acting.

Many say that the characters that Eunwoo played were for actors who were "acting geniuses" rather than "face geniuses." Moreover, they say that the idol has uncomfortable facial expressions in quite a lot of scenes.

Cha Eunwoo is a singer, model, and actor under Fantagio Entertainment. He debuted as an actor in 2013, with a minor role in a South Korean drama film entitled "My Brilliant Life."

In August 2015, Eunwoo, alongside his group members, starred in a web drama "To Be Continued." His group called "ASTRO" then debuted on February 23, 2016, releasing a debut single "Hide & Seek" from their mini-album called "Spring Up."  In August, Cha took part in the Chuseok special variety show titled "Replies That Make Us Flutter." Then in September, the singer participated in the Chuseok pilot program called "Boomshakalaka."

From 2016 to 2018, Eunwoo became the MC of the show "Show! Music Core" together with Kim Sae Ron and Lee Soo Min. During that time, he was cast in the web drama entitled "My Romantic Some Recipe."

In 2017, Cha starred in KBS2 drama "Hit the Top" and in another web drama "Sweet Revenge." In 2018, he became part of the web drama "Top Management" then, he had his first leading role in the JTBC romantic comedy series "Gangnam Beauty." Because of the latter, Eunwoo earned such fame and was included in GQ Korea's "Men of the Year."

On March 4, 2019, Fantagio Entertainment announced that Cha Eunwoo would be starring in an upcoming South Korean television series entitled "Rookie Historian Goo Hae-ryung," alongside Shin Se Kyung and Lee Ji-hoon. Eunwoo will play the role of Prince Yi Rim. The show will circulate in the story of women in the 19th century who were hated for writing historical documents.

In addition, the drama will contend with the outdated prejudice based on gender and social status and present the value of change. Se Kyung will play the female lead role in this show.

Meanwhile, on January 16, ASTRO launched their first full-length album called "All Light." Then on April 3, they made their Japan debut with the extended play "Venus." The group also announced their second "ASTROAD TOUR," which will take place in cities across Asia and North America.
