Red Velvet Unveils Logo, Concept for "The ReVe Festival" Comeback

Earlier on Monday, August 12 KST, the group changed the layout of their official website to fun, syrupy graphics that depict a seemingly tropical setting. Their team name is conspicuous, situated in the middle, along with Day 2 resting on top of the letter t. Overall, the summery scene rests on a light pink, galactic background, instantly making the art an eye-candy to fans around the world.

According to a source from SM Entertainment, the undeniably all-visual and vocally nifty members - Irene, Seulgi, Wendy, Yeri, and Joy - are indeed gearing up for another comeback this season, which is set to come out on August 20, while pre-orders will commence today, August 12.

"It's true that Red Velvet will be making a comeback in mid-August with a new album. Please look forward to it," the agency confirmed to various media outlets on August 7.

Red Velvet also unveiled the teaser on their official social media accounts, such as on Twitter and Instagram. On top of this, the quintet was seen in a recent clip taken inside a studio, shared on the photo-sharing app, presumably rehearsing or recording new music.

As of press time, the video already amassed over 600,000 hearts from Reveluvs and 3,000 comments from their followers across the globe, leaving positive remarks and expressing anticipation to the upcoming comeback.

Their return is reported to be the continuation of theThe ReVe Festival mini-album series, which conveyed a quaint, magical sensation. This has been confirmed by the group's leader, Irene, prior to the release of the initial part of the album.

Last June, she revealed to the press, "The ReVe Festival' is a three-part series. All three parts will be revealed within the year."

Moreover, the forthcoming comeback is slated to transpire at the Red Velvet theme park, the one that has been in usage by the girls in their previous teasers. Day 1 was already unique on its own, whilst Day 2 will have its own eccentricity.

Meanwhile, Red Velvet is slated to join the headliners for the upcoming shows, 2019 K-World Festa. The event will come about on August 16 to 24 at KSPO Dome in Seoul. Other performers include Monsta X, Lovelyz, NCT Dream, The Boyz, Dreamcatcher, Weki Meki, and many more.
