One-on-one battles between contestants continued. The episode started with the battle of gugudan's Nayoung and Cherry Bullet's Haeyoon. Nayoung was hesitant to choose her as her opponent because she heard her sing high notes on 'Produce 48.'"

Nayoung sang Wonder Girls' "Me, in". viewers were amazed at her powerful vocals and rapping skills. Haeyoon chose Ailee's OST "Tears Stole The Heart". She blew the viewers away with her high vocal cords and clarity. 

Haeyoon won and was able to move to the second round. She had 50 votes while Nayoung got 47. Nayoung said that she was embarrassed to lose to someone she personally picked. She said that she will continue cheering on her junior until she takes the first place.

The next battle was between DIA's Jueun and DreamCatcher's Siyeon, who are friends outside the show. Siyeon shared that they both go to the same salon and they were the same age too. She said that they go out to have some drinks. Jueun laughed and said that they are legally adults now.

DreamCatcher's Siyeon performed Kim Bum Soo's "Last Love". She moved the audience with her vocal control and special vocal color. Jueun chose Naul's "One's Way Back" and amazed the audience as she played the piano beautifully.

The result of this competition was also a close fight with 3 votes difference only. In the end, Siyeon took the win and advanced to the second round. She had 51 votes while Jueun got 48. She said that she will work harder for Jueun. Jueun cried and said that she was happy that her friend won. She was thankful for the support of her fellow members. She said she was crying not because she lost.

The last battle was between WJSN's Yoo Yeonjung and GWSN's Seoryoung. The rest of the girls were avoiding the battle with Yoo Yeonjung, who had been voted No. 1 in advance votes. 

Seoryoung performed Baek Ji Young's OST "Don't Forget". She was able to express her emotional range and vocal expression. Yoo Yeonjung chose Lee Sun Hee's OST "Wind Flower". She reached the high expectations of the audience with her powerful voice and incredibly high range.

Yoo Yeonjung won and advanced to the next round. She had 65 votes while Seoryoung got 33. Seoryoung said she was sad but it was only her first time doing this. She thinks she will have another opportunity to sing in the future. She said she will continue to work hard and be a better singer.  

The 6 vocalists who won were divided into 3-on-3 group battles for the second round. The members of the "pink" group are High.D, Jeong Da Kyung, and Yoo Yeonjung. While the members of the "mint" group. Are Siyeon, Haeyoon, and Suyeon.
