Chicago Bulls Roster: Windy City Joining The 'Love' Triangle, Gibson And Butler In The Mix?

For the past few weeks, the latest trade rumors include All Star forward Kevin Love, the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Golden State Warriors. But now that Wiggins has been signed by the Cavs, it looks like Windy City also plans to include Love in the Chicago Bulls roster for next season.

According to a report by Bleacher Report, the Bulls are interested in bringing over Love in order to become an automatic favorite at an NBA Finals appearance for the upcoming NBA season.

In the report, forward Taj Gibson and wingman Jimmy Butler are allegedly included in this possible deal, together with the Bulls' first round draft picks next year.

Minnesota has been reportedly talking with the Warriors and Cavs, but both teams have been reluctant in 'sharing' what the Wolves want in exchange for Love.

This week, Wiggins will part of the Cavs which means it will take 30 more days before he can be traded - that is if Cleveland does want him to be traded.

And because Minnesota is clearly in a hurry to dispose Love now or suffer the consequences later, they might just trade with the Cavs for 'only' last year's first overall draft pick, as well as a protected first round draft pick.

This is where the Bulls' offer will come in.

Both Butler and Gibson are elite defenders and have thrived in coach Thibodeau's system. Getting both players, together with a first round draft pick may sound good for the Wolves if things get out of hand in the next few weeks.

It is also interesting to note that both Love and former MVP Derrick Rose are friends since college days, and both have trained together for rehab after both players suffered injury the two years ago.

Kevin Love has recently expressed as well that he is 'intrigued' at playing with LeBron for the Cavs, and that he would commit in the long run if given the opportunity.

However, right now, it is not Love who would decide, but the Wolves.
