Kevin Love News: All-Star Forward 'Requesting' To Be Traded To Cleveland? Decides To Opt Out Of Team USA As Well

After all is said and done, it looks like the latest Kevin Love news still favors the Cavs to get the All-Star forwasrd from Minnesota.

According to a new report by Bleacher Report, multiple sources claim that Love has requested to be traded to Cleveland through his agent. A couple of weeks back, Love expressed that he is 'intrigued' of being able to play with the best player on the planet. And he may soon have that chance.

But before Minnesota gives him that, they have to check what they're getting in return for the 3-time All-Star. Currently, the only offer that the Cavs can give include the last two first overall draft picks Anthony Bennett and Andrew Wiggins.

Bennett is coming off from a very poor rookie season averaging less than 5 points a game, but he has shown glimpses of brilliance in Vegas probably due to his thinner frame. Wiggins on the other hand has performed well in the Summer League, and getting him will be a great addition of young talent for the Wolves.

Unfortunately, the Cavs have just signed Wiggins, which will restrict them from trading him in the next 30 days.

But as Kevin Love has previously showed interest in playing with LeBron James and Kyrie Irving, the 25-year-old NBA star might be willing to wait.

After all, joining Cleveland will automatically grant him his first trip to the Playoffs, and even a chance to get a championship as well.

That is why even before he is traded, Love has reportedly opted out of Team USA because he couldn't afford any injuries. Does this sound similar?

LBJ has also decided not to try out for Team USA as he prepares for his return season with Cleveland.

So where will Love go? Once the 30-day period is up, we'll know.
