LeBron James News: LBJ Chooses '23' As Cavs Jersey Number, What Does Jordan Think About It?

Several days after the most surprising LeBron James news hit the Web, the 29-year-old star posted on his Instagram account which jersey number should he wear returning to Cleveland.

After more than a week of contemplating, the 'King' has spoken, and has decided to wear his 23 jersey number during his previous stint with the Cavs.

So what does Michael Jordan, who wore 23 during the latter part of his stint with the Bulls, has to say about it?

According to a report by Bleacher Report, he isn't the least worried about it.

In a tweet by Sports Center, Jordan said that he is 'cool with it' and that he doesn't 'own a number'.

Before LBJ's final year with the Cavs, he announced that no one is worthy to wear MJ's 23 jersey number, and even began a petition throughout the NBA about it.

"I feel like no NBA player should wear 23," James said. "I'm starting a petition, and I've got to get everyone in the NBA to sign it. Now, if I'm not going to wear No. 23, then nobody else should be able to wear it."

However, it looks like James has had a change of heart since playing for the Heat and winning two championships out of four consecutive NBA Finals appearances.

Does LeBron think he already has what it takes to wear 'His Airness's number that made him a global icon not only during his generation but in generations to come?

With the level of impact the 4-time MVP has made in the NBA during his career, his stats and awards can certainly atest to that?

For Cleveland, this certainly calls of a celebration as their MVP will bring back his talents with the Cavs this season - something whom James thinks is already at par with one of the greatest NBA players of all time.
