‘Ant Man’ Movie Spoilers: Yellowjacket Is The Villain! Evangeline Lilly Cast In The Film Despite Denials! Is She Friend Or Foe?

Despite all the negative publicity and the naysayers, the "Ant Man" panel in Comic Con was a pretty lively bunch led by Michael Douglas and Paul Rudd. There are also revelations that Yellowjacket would be the villain and Evangeline Lilly is indeed in the cast.

From EW, Michael Douglas details the character that started it all, Dr. Henry Pym:

"My name is Dr. Henry Pym. I'm an entomologist. I'm also a physicist and I discovered in 1963, a way, a serum to reduce a human being to the size of ant maintaining the strength. Not only that, but I was able to find a way to communicate with the ants. But unfortunately during this process, a tragic personal accident happened with my wife, my daughter, Evangeline, Hope. So I've had to pass my powers and strengths onto a mentor. Because my partner, my partner, Corey over there, f-ked me good."

Corey is Corey Stoll, who plays Darren Cross and they reveal that he will eventually turn into Yellowjacket. He will get his own suit-or what it implies: Cross takes the suit(and the technology Pym invented) from Pym, and Pym needs Lang to steal it back.

Also, it's confirmed that Evangeline Lilly is playing Hank Pym's daughter Hope, and Corey Stoll is the evil ex-partner Darren Cross, who gets his own shrinking suit and becomes the Yellowjacket - the film's villain.

Evangeline Lilly was in Comic Con for "The Hobbit" and she was relentlessly asked about the film (but apparently not allowed to spill): "And poor Evangeline Lilly has spent two days at Comic-Con being asked about Ant-Man and having to plead the fifth. "I have no idea what you're talking about." "Ant-Man, is that a new thing coming out?"

Lilly's role is Hope Van Dyne-Pym. She is the daughter of Henry Pym and Janet Van Dyne, aka The Wasp. In the comics she turns into Red Queen-a villain. However, seeing as the canon has been changed, it is uncertain whether that story will unfold
