Star Wars 7 Casting Rumors: John Boyega Character Is A Stormtrooper? Aiming For Bigger Role In Marvel Cinematice Universe; The Next 'Captain America'

Fans are anxious to hear more of Star Wars 7 casting rumors update and just recently British actor John Boyega’s character has been revealed according to an article of Badass Digest.

According to the site, John Boyega will appear in J.J. Abrams’ highly anticipate scifi film as a storm trooper, who eventually turns back and teams up with the character of Daisy Ridley, which is still unknown as of the moment.

In addition to Star Wars 7 casting news, it has also been reported by Badass Digest that the desert planet included in the movie is not Tatooine, contrary to previous speculations.

Meanwhile, new cast member John Boyega has announced his intentions of getting more high profile role in Marvel’s upcoming Cinematic Universe.

As soon as the news broke out that there would be a black Captain America, the young British actor immediately jumped in saying that he’s interested to take on the role.

“There is no need to emphasis the ‘black’ man,” he posted on Twitter then he quipped, “issues with the lack of roles for raccoons and talking trees” making him grateful for Guardians of the Galaxy movie.

“I’m dam right aiming for it,” Boyega answered following rumors swarm claiming that he’ll be playing the black Captain America.

Meanwhile, J.J. Abrams unveils new X-Wing spacecraft which will be appearing on Star Wars episode 7 that you can see in the video footage below.

Many argued that the spacecraft shown in the video looked more of Z-95 Headhunter however, Star Wars was quick to react taking the issue to Twitter saying, "it is in fact an Episode VII X-wing, not a Z-95," now fans are contemplating that the space fighting spacecraft may have undergone some redesigning.

Star Wars 7 casting includes Adam Driver, Lupita Nyong’o, Andy Serkis, Oscal Isaac, Domhnall Gleeson, Max von Sydow with original cast members Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill and Peter Mayhew, portraying the popular character Chewbacca.

Film is slated for release on December 18, 2015.
