Samsung Galaxy Alpha Release Date Pushed Back To August 13? Upcoming Phone Also Dubbed As Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime And Galaxy F Arriving With Exynos 5433 And 12MP Camera

Samsung Galaxy Alpha release date has been delayed, according to news reports.

The new smartphone from South Korean tech manufacturer, currently dubbed as Samsung Galaxy Alpha, Samsung Galaxy S5 Prime and Samsung Galaxy F is expected to arrive next month.

Previous reports noted that the Samsung Galaxy Alpha release date might happen as early as next week, particularly next Monday, August 4.  But as noted on GSM Arena, new claim emerges suggesting that the Samsung Galaxy Alpha release date has been pushed back to August 13.

And ahead of the imminent Samsung Galaxy Alpha release date, the specs of the upcoming smartphone have already been leaked. The report on NDTV Gadgets Beta noted that the new smartphone variant will come with a 4.8-inch screen with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels.

Citing a report on Sam Mobile, the post also noted that the Samsung Galaxy Alpha or the Galaxy F will also have fingerprint scanner, a feature found on the Galaxy S5. Samsung Galaxy Alpha will also be equipped with 32 GB of built-in storage and no micro-SD expansion. The device will likely come with a nano Sim slot.

As for other specs, the report on GSM Arena shared that the Samsung Galaxy Alpha will have the Exynos 5433 processor, which as described on the post, beats the Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 benchmark last month.

Also, the Samsung Galaxy Alpha is expected to have 12 MP rear camera and a 2MP front camera.

Athough the Samsung Galaxy Alpha is expected to be a premium variant for the 2014 flagship smartphone of the Korean tech company, some reports are suggesting that the alleged smartphone will lie between the Galaxy S5 Mini and the Samsung Galaxy S5.

No official confirmation has been made yet regarding the Samsung Galaxy Alpha release date and specs. Make sure to check back on this site for updates about the alleged new variant of Samsung Galaxy smartphone.
