Liam Neeson Wife Death Still Feels Surreal; ‘Taken’ Cast Hero Says One Thing Triggered Him To Turn Off Partner’s Life Support

He might have saved his wife and daughter's lives in 'Taken' but the movie's ending was far from reality. Liam Neeson wife death is something which the actor won't get over with.

In an interview with Loaded magazine, the 'Non-Stop' actor said that five years would never be enough for him to stop grieving over Natasha Richardson's death. Liam Neeson wife death took place when she got into a ski accident. While she did not immediately succumb to death, she had to be put into tubes.

The 62-year-old actor recalled those times where he still expected his wife to enter the door of their house. Though difficult, Neeson opted to turn off Richardson's life support because of a pact that they once made.

"I went in to her and I just told her I loved her. I said, 'Sweetie, you're not coming back from this.' She and I had made a pact. If any of us got into a vegetative state we'd pull the plug. So when I saw her and saw all these tubes and stuff that was my immediate thought, 'OK, these tubes have to go. She's gone,'" he shared.

Despite the struggle that he faced, Neeson was able to channel his pain into working hard. He was able to nab one spot in Forbes's Top 10 Highest Paid Actors of 2014 list.

Following Liam Neeson wife death, the 'Wrath of the Titans' star is believed to be dating Freya St. Johnson.
