Eminem and Rihanna Monster Tour 2014: Two Music Superstars Performs As Equals, Duo Starts And Ends The Show Together

Eminem and Rihanna Monster Tour 2014:  Eminem and Rihanna's Monster Tour is billed as a co-headlining tour between the two music superstars, and the pair treated the show as if they were equals, starting and ending together according to Billboard.

Eminem and Rihanna went with the perform-with-a-buddy trend which superstar couples like Jay Z and Beyonce or Miley Cyrus and Lily Allen as they performed in the Rose Bowl in Los Angeles, one of the concerts for their Monster Tour that started August 7. Coincidentally, Jay Z and Beyonce is also performing at the same time with Eminem and Rihanna's concert.

The act opened up with a scene that describes some lyrics of their songs like "Stan" and "Monster" in a Hannibal Lecter atmosphere.  A short film portrays Rihanna in a dreary prison cell. Moments from that, Eminem's signatured blonde head appeared on screen portraying that he is alone in a pod eating dry cereals, cursing, talking to himself and waiting for Rihanna for a very long time. There was no explanation whatsoever as to how the two met.

The Silence of the Lamb atmosphere was retained when Rihanna performed her first song "Numb" while Eminem appeared on stage still on that theatrical Hannibal Lecter mood where is strapped to a stretcher and joined Rihanna in the middle of the song.

The concert continued as the two raised the crowd's enthusiasm while perfoming "No Love (Don't Hurt Me", "Run" This Town" and "Won't Back down among other songs."

In between songs, Rihanna and Eminem kept a short banter with him encouraging Rihanna to "feel at home" while she answered crassly "Make some noise for this white motherfucker" which intensifies the duo's chemistry that night.

It was Rihanna's turn to seize the stage and perform her songs for almost an hour her highpoints shown on "What Now", "Stay" and "Man Down" that started the crowd grooving for more. Audience got their dancing mood when Rihanna performed "Where Have You Been."

Near the end of the show, Eminem performed "My Name Is," "The Real Slim Shady," and "Without Me", three singles from his previous albums.

Though, reports interpreted that the two lack chemistry in some parts of the concert, still Rihanna closed the act saying "Thanks Cali, hope we get to do this again soon."
