‘The Originals’ Season 2 Spoilers: Werewolf Pushes For Team Up With Witches To ‘Take Down Vampires?’ Marcel And Klaus An Interesting Ally

"The Originals" season 2 spoilers hint of a werewolf and witches team-up to take down the vampires, as Marcel and Klaus' alliance proved to be very interesting.

According to TVLine, which dished out "The Originals" season 2 spoilers, Colin Woodell ("Devious Maids") was cast on a recurring role as a werewolf named Aiden.

"A lieutenant in New Orleans' leading werewolf pack, Aiden isn't opposed to teaming up with witches if they can help him take down vampires and keep his family safe," Andy Swift wrote, adding that Colin Woodell would expectedly form "dangerous alliances" that will keep the series interesting.

Showrunner Michael Narducci dished out more "The Originals" season 2 spoilers to BuddyTV when he said that Francesca will post a great threat to Klaus when the show returns this fall.

"She has a small army and has made an alliance with the witches," he said. "It's a reversal ... Now we have a gangster in charge. She's bloodthirsty and dangerous."

This is why the Klaus and Marcel's alliance would be crucial to warding off all the enemies in the front.

"They have no shortage of enemies that they need to deal with" when the show returns so they have to get their acts straight immediately.

The werewolves are beginning to show their muscles and Marcel would have a good idea of how to deal with them because he has been "running" the city since Klaus and his family left.

"Marcel took out those werewolves back in the 1920s... So an interesting asset [for Klaus], an interesting ally to have is Marcel," the executive producer said.

Earlier, Phoebe Tonkin revealed "The Originals" season 2 spoilers when she said that her character Hayley might hook up with Elijah (Daniel Gillies). She also said that Hayley has evolved from a cold-hearted werewolf to being a desperate hybrid.

"She's basically played every level of emotion, right now, she doesn't who she is... and it's kind of sad, but it's going to be great to find her again," she said during the 2014 CW Upfronts interview last month.

"The Originals" will air on CW on Mondays at 8 p.m. on October 6.
