Katy Perry World Tour Brings `Dark Horse' Singer's Parents To Church

Katy Perry is in the middle of her world tour and mounting almost-scandals. The media is reporting that Katy Perry is in a feud with Taylor Swift. Conspiracy sites say that Katy Perry is in the Illuminati or that her Dark Horse Billboard performance was a satanic ritual designed to cast a spell on viewers and usher in a new world order of California Gurls. It's enough to drive parents straight to church.

Katy Perry's real name is Katy Hudson. Katy Perry took her stage last name of Perry from her mother Mary's maiden name. Katy's parents, Keith and Mary Hudson, will be visiting Living Word Bible Church Scottsdale on September 20 and 21. The Katy Perry Prismatic World Tour is set to stop at Jobing.com Arena in Glendale, AZ on Thursday, September 25, 2014.

Pastor Jason Anderson of Living Word Bible Church (LWBC) Scottsdale said "There has been some controversy in the media and online about the relationship between Keith and Mary Hudson and their daughter Katy Perry; claims of name calling and saying that the Hudson's have said harsh things about their daughter. We invite the media to come out and ask the Hudson's for themselves and get the real story."

Pastor Scot Anderson of LWBC Scottsdale added "We are excited about Keith and Mary Hudson coming to our church. They are known for their dynamic ministry of inspiration, encouragement and prophetic words. Oh, and I hear they raised a pretty good singer too. We invite everyone to come see them."

When asked if we might see Katy Perry at LWBC Scottsdale, Pastor Scot Anderson replied, "She has a concert scheduled for Saturday night in Los Angeles. But Sunday is an off day in her concert schedule."

The Hudsons will be at the concert to see their daughter perform in Glendale that week.
