"NCIS" season 12 spoilers show that Tony DiNozzo returns to being himself after Ziva David's depature and Bishop's story gets even more exciting come Thanksgiving.

NCIS executive producer Gary Glasberg dished "NCIS" season 12 spoilers to TV Fanatic  as he said that Michael Weatherly's character Tony DiNozzo will get into the dating scene once more.

"Tony is going to go out and have fun and play the field and be Tony. And his friends are going to acknowledge that and comment on it and we're writing some fun stuff," he said. "It's not so much about locking Tony down with another woman. It's about Tony being Tony and that's the part that people need to embrace."

Showrunner Gary Glasberg earlier told TVLine that the premiere episode will show Special Agent Gibbs and McGee in Russia to try to control a "really significant crisis." During the episode, a new villain to be played by Alex Veadow will emerge.

The synopsis for the premiere reads: "Gibbs and McGee travel to Russia to safely escort home an 'NCIS' computer engineer connected to classified intel, but their mission is compromised and they are forced to go off the grid while hunted by a Russian mercenary group."

Meanwhile, the showrunner teased more "NCIS" season 12 spoilers to the website especially regarding Bishop and the appearance of her husband.

"Starting the season off is really about Bishop grounding herself more as an agent, finding a setting as a probationary agent with the agency, proving herself more and then she goes on this fantastic trip to London with Ducky and they connect," he said.

"She's very involved with the solving of that case and then along Thanksgiving will come and for our Thanksgiving episode you're going to meet Jake, her husband, and we've got all kinds of plans for Jake," Gary Glasberg added about "NCIS" season 12 spoilers.
