Josh Hutcherson, Girlfriend Claudia Traisac Share Sweet Moments At ‘Escobar’ Premiere; ‘Hunger Games’ Actor’s New Role Still Similar To Peeta?

Josh Hutcherson and girlfriend Claudia Traisac were all smiles at the premiere of their film "Escobar: Paradise Lost" which was held at the Toronto International Film Festival last September 11.

The "Hunger Games" actor was clad in a black and white tuxedo whereas his lady love donned a red dress. Apart from socializing with the crowd, the young couple held hands and repeatedly whispered to each other.

While many were happy to see Hutcherson doing a new film, some cannot help but note the similarity of his new role to Peeta, his infamous "Hunger Games" character. In "Escobar: Paradise: Lost," Hutcherson plays the role of a surfer named Nick who falls under the spell of Traisac's character, Maria.

Nick doesn't know that his relationship with Maria will bring several perils because of the Colombian beauty's uncle, a notorious cocaine kingpin. In the film, love is deemed as the root of Nick's problems which is reminiscent of Peeta's affiliation with Katniss.

Nonetheless, Hutcherson is excited for his role in "Escobar: Paradise Lost" as it will give him an opportunity to play the bad guy.

"I've been the victim of so many horrible men that, at some point, I'm really excited to play a real bad guy," he previously told Vulture.

Josh Hutcherson and girlfriend Claudia Traisac's film will debut on November 26, 2014.
