Apple Launches Its Much Awaited Wearable, Apple Watch

After announcing the releases of iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus along with its brand-new payment system, the multinational corporation headquartered in Cupertino, California, Apple, went ahead and announced its much awaited wearable, Apple Watch.

Emphasizing on the UI interface experience, Tim Cook, CEO of Apple Inc. said, "It's an extremely precise and customizable timepiece." The state-of-the-art watch is rightfully defined as the next chapter in Apple Inc.'s history and well deserved the standing ovation its announcement got.

As opposed to the usual touch based input that we are so familiar with in the current iOS devices, This interface is mainly designed around a physical dial found on the side of the device.  Apple has been renovating the small dial known as the 'crown' for a long time now. The digital crown enables the wearer to perform multiple tasks like zooming in on maps or scrolling through different lists and it does not block the screen while performing these tasks. The digital crown functions as a multi-use interface controller. Besides, the digital crown's ability to handle most of the functionalities, Apple Watch also features force detection and touch input for numerous applications.

Packed with an array of customizable features, this user interface offers a wide variety of choice. Inspired from the original iOS home screen design, this interface consists of the apps designated as circular icons around a digital clock. Additionally, there are several other new features including a special glance mode to make it easier for you to view the applications in progress.

ith numerous other features and third party apps including Facebook, Pinterest, Nike and BMW, the watch also features apps that tracks your fitness and health and can be synced up with iOS 8.  Digital Touch is one the key features of Apple Watch and is a new way to communicate as per Apple.

Apple Watch will be available in three models i.e. Apple Watch Edition, Apple Watch Sport and Apple Watch. The Apple Watch will start at $349 and is expected to be available early next year.
