Iggy Azalea Sues Ex-Boyfriend Who Leaked Sex Tape For Stealing Songs From Her PC

Iggy Azalea sued her ex-boyfriend for allegedly stealing songs from her personal computer. The songs were recorded before Iggy became famous. The rapper claimed in California federal court that her ex-boyfriend, who also allegedly leaked the Iggy Azalea sex tape, faked a contract that gave him the right to release an album of Azalea's early material.

The Hollywood Reporter reported that Iggy Azalea sued Jefe Wine for releasing her early master recordings.

According to reports, Iggy met Wine when she was 17. The rapper, a native Australian, was living in Houston. Wine reportedly told Iggy that he was a partner in a oil company. In 2009, Jefe followed Iggy to Atlanta and moved in with her. The "Black Widow" rapper says Wine illegally copied data from her laptop while they were living together. Iggy Azalea's ex-boyfriend/producer also claims that he shot a sex tape with the rapper.

TMZ reported that Azalea accused Wine of illegally copying every ounce of data on her computer. That includes master recordings that have never been heard by the public.

Wine claimed Iggy signed over legal documents that allowed him exclusive rights to her music and music videos. Azalea reportedly said that the documents were fake. She claims they were forged together from an old document that she had signed with a management firm run by a man named Kareem Chapman. She claimns the contract was changed to read as a music recording and composition agreement after the rapper put her signature on it. According to reports Williams introduced Azalea to Chapman.

Azalea is suing Wine for violating copyright on songs like "It Ain't Tricking," "U Ain't My Daddy," "Take My Picture," "Red Bottoms," "Supernova" and "Miss International."

Maurice Williams, a rapper who goes by the stage name Jefe Wine, allegedly put Azalea up in an apartment, according to the complaint. Azalea claims she did not know that Williams was already married with children.

The complaint says "Williams downloaded the entire contents of Azalea's personal computer," including unreleased master recordings.

On July, 24, 2014, a Primco, ESMG, Top Sail and Wine Enterprises, Inc., joint venture put out a press release that claimed they had "secured the rights" to release an EP by Azalea titled Inizio. In the press release Williams is quoted as sayin, "We believe the merger will be monumental because the projects that we have coming down the pipeline are going to shock the world!"
