Heroes Reborn 2015 News: With A New Show, Is Zachary Quinto Passing On The Reboot Of NBC Hit Sci-Fi Drama Series? Prequel Webseries To Be Featured Before The Premiere Next Year

NBC is planning to do a reboot of its popular show with "Heroes Reborn" 2015 news.

In a report by Screenrant.com, "Heroes: Reborn" will feature a prequel webseries before the 2015 premiere. Tim Kring, the show's creator is aiming to feature a new cast of characters, together with original tales but a number of former actors may be returning as well.

Heroes Reborn 2015 news revealed that a number of people from the original cast were invited to come back but only one has confirmed. Jack Coleman, who played Noah Bennet, will return for the same role.

Another star, Ali Larter, confirmed that she will not be returning for Heroes: Reborn. She explained that she was currently busy with TNT's Legends with Sean Bean and could not work on another project in the meantime. She hinted that she can do a cameo appearance if allowed by her new network.

Zachary Quinto, who played Sylar, the arch nemesis on the show, is not yet sure whether he can return for the reboot. He shared to IGN, "I've been in touch with Tim [Kring, creator] and he told me they were doing this and we left the door open for me to be involved. The trouble is really my availability. I don't know that it would really even be possible. And it's a challenge for me because that experience and role and opportunity really changed my life completely and sent me on a path that I might not have otherwise have been on, but at the same time I'm very interested in forward momentum, I'm very interested in expanding and defying people's expectations of me."

According to TVovermind.com, Quinto will be coming back to NBC, but not for Heroes. He will be working on an upcoming miniseries named, "The Slap", based on an Australian series. Quinto will play the lead role of Harry, a mechanic/dealer who lives with his family in Brooklyn, New York, together with Brian Cox.

Fans in the meantime can continue hoping for Heroes Reborn 2015 news that Quinto finally accepts the role of Sylar.
