Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes, whose romance started in September 2011, were reportedly overwhelmed with the birth of their first child - a baby girl. The "Hitch" actress gave birth last September 9 at a Los Angeles hospital.

"It was very emotional for Eva and Ryan. They were both in tears when they saw their daughter for the first time!" claimed one source to E! News

Following the birth of Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes' baby, the 33-year-old actor privately escorted the two girls in her life back to their Los Feliz mansion. The insider claims that the couple is "in love" with their bundle of joy especially Mendes who's been wanting to have a child.

"She's so good with kids and has been wanting this a really long time. When she found out she was having a girl, she was freaking out. She kind of wanted a girl deep down, but of course just wants a happy and healthy baby! Ryan is saying he is going to be overpowered with girls in the house and is gonna have to be extra manly around the house!" added the insider.

The insider likewise claims that as of this point, the baby has more features from her mother. Despite rumors of Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes' breakup, the two have reportedly become stronger because of the newest addition to their romance.

The "Crazy, Stupid Love" actor also never fails to praise his girlfriend according to the same insider: "He tells her how sexy and perfect she is all the time...he really is like Noah in 'The Notebook!' It's kind of an inside joke, but he's really romantic. They are both so happy and in love. They wanted to start a family for a while now."
