Silent Hills PS4 Release Date, Trailer And News: Hideo Kojima To Sell Game Per Episode? Walking Dead Star Norman Reedus Excited With Game

On the latest news for the upcoming horror game Silent Hills, an episodic format is said to be considered for the game, which will have gamers have to wait and download episodes as they play the game and eventually finish the story.

As reported by Dual Shockers, game creator Hideo Kojima said that they are structuring the game to be like of a TV series to have fans on the edge of their seats

Meanwhile, a new trailer - much like a "concept trailer" was revealed showing more of the game, Silent Hills.

After revealing a playable teaser for download, Hideo Kojima showed people of the new game and how it would look and feel like for gamers.

As reported by IGN, director Guillermo Del Toro and creator Kojima recently said their thoughts about the new game and how they can further improve on the horror title after getting positive feedback on the PT.

"We talked about concepts and tools at his headquarters in Tokyo," del Toro said. "Then he sent his first version of the playable teaser. I saw it loved it. We then... exchanged ideas and the result was the playable teaser you see now... The concepts we're discussing, the ideas that we're discussing and the tools that are in play to create Silent Hills are going to render an incredibly intense and an incredibly scary game."

Despite being directed and created by Hideo Kojima and Guillermo del Toro, Silent Hill will be casted by The Walking Dead's "Daryl Dixon", Norman Reedus to play as the main character in the story.

Silent Hills is expected to be available for PS4, Xbox One and PC in the next year, though no official announcement of the release has been revealed yet.
