Sleeping Dogs Xbox One Release Date: Pre-Order For 'Definitive Edition' Now Available; Open World Action-Adventure Video Game Arriving On October 14
Sleeping Dogs Xbox One release date officially set!
The open-world action-adventure video game is coming next month. According to Computer And Video Games, "Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition" will be available in North America on October 14. Meanwhile, the European launch of upcoming game developed by United Front Games and Square Enix London will be ahead of 4 days, as it is set to be released on October 10.
Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition is a high-def remastered version of the PS3 and Xbox 360 game, coming not only to Xbox One but also to PS4 and PC. The game is set in a fictional version of Hong Kong and its story "follows Wei Shen, an undercover Chinese-American police officer on assignment to infiltrate the Sun On Yee Triad organization," as posted on Wikipedia.
Weeks ahead of the official Sleeping Dogs Xbox One release date, Microsoft opened the pre-order for the game via Xbox Live. Gamers can currently download the game via Xbox Live but it will only be playable beginning 12:01 AM on the official Sleeping Dogs Xbox One release date.
The description for the upcoming version of Sleeping Dogs, as posted on MajorNelson.com reads:
"The Definitive Edition of the critically acclaimed, award winning open-world action adventure, reworked, rebuilt and re-mastered for Xbox One. All 24 previously available DLC extensions from the Xbox 360 version have been integrated into the game, including the story-extending episode Year of the Snake and the horror-themed Nightmare in North Point. Alongside a wealth of new technological, audio and visual improvements, Hong Kong has never felt so alive."
Furthermore, Sleeping Dogs for Xbox One will run at 1080p resolution.
