Free Games For Xbox Live Gold Members For September 2014: 'Halo: Reach' Available For 0 Microsoft Point Until End Of The Month; Current 'Deals With Gold' Offers Metro Last Light With 67% Discount

Xbox 360 owners can now download "Halo: Reach," one of the free games for Xbox Live Gold members Microsoft announced for September 2014.  

"Halo: Reach" became free for Xbox Live Gold members on September 16.  Gamers can get their own copy of Bungie's popular shooter game as part of Microsoft's "Games With Gold" offering until September 30.

The description of the game, as posted on Wikipedia, reads:

 "Halo: Reach" is set "in the year 2552, where humanity is locked in a war with the alien Covenant." As for the gameplay, the players "control Noble Six, a member of an elite supersoldier squad, when the human world known as Reach falls under Covenant attack."

"Halo: Reach" replaces another free Xbox 360 game for this month --  "Monaco: What's Yours Is Mine, which was available for 0 Microsoft Point during the first half of September.

Aside from the free games for Xbox Live Gold members for the Xbox 360 console, Xbox One owners also get 2 titles with no required payment.

The list of free games for Xbox Live Gold members for September 2014 includes "Crimson Dragon," which was already free on August. "Super Time Force," another one of the free games for Xbox Live Gold members is available also for the Xbox One users. Both titles are free for the entire month.

Aside from the free games for Xbox Live Gold members for September 2014, players can get more Xbox titles with discounts via Xbox Deals With Gold.

Microsoft's Deals With Gold Week 10 offers a number of Xbox 360 and Xbox One games on sale. Currently, "Metro Last Light" and "Metro 2033" for Xbox 360 are available with 67% and 75% discount, respectively.

In addition to Metro 2033 and Metro Last Light, other discounted Xbox 360 games included in the list of this week's Deals With Gold are Eternal Sonata, Tales of Vesperia, Pac Man & the Ghostly Adventures, and LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean: The Video Game. Various add-ons are also available, with discounts as high as 80 percent.

For the Xbox One users with Gold membership, Valiant Hearts is available with 33 percent off its original price. Discounted add-ons are Killer Instinct Season 1 Retro Costume Pack and Battlefield 4 Engineer Shortcut Kit.
