Vanessa Carlton Baby Bump: Singer Shows Off Growing Baby Bump; Pregnancy Going Well After A Failed One

It was first announced some time June this that she first announced her second pregnancy with musician husband John McCauley and now, a couple of months after, Vanessa Carlton is still happy showing off her growing baby bump in new pictures of her taken by Mail Online on Wednesday during the premiere of “Two Faces Of January” premiere in New York. This is the actress second pregnancy following last year’s very dangerous ectopic pregnancy.

The "Thousand Miles" singer is wearing a comfy mocha silk dress that has just reached her knees revealing her glowing skin. Also, the dress has a revealing neckline and pleats on its shoulder that emphasizes her soft curls.

An earlier photo on Facebook taken on September 13 reveals a closer look of the singer’s belly. The picture is taken while she is at the airport. She captions the picture saying "I can now reveal the reason as to why Liberman will not be released until next summer. See the picture below. No, those aren't a bunch of croissants. We're expecting a baby. It's healthy and moving around like a champ."

It is to be remembered that the 34-year old singer got pregnant last year months after her wedding officiated by "Fleetwood Mac" frontwoman Stevie Nicks. However, the fetus has developed in the fallopian tube instead of the uterus. To save the singer’s life, she underwent a surgery removing her entire right fallopian tube, E! Online has reported.

"This is not considered a viable pregnancy, because the fetus cannot develop and it is a high risk situation for the mother because of the potential for tubal rupture and internal bleeding.” Carlton said.

Meanwhile, the singer-songwriter revealed that a new long overdue album will be coming out soon and she is excited for its launch.

"I'm bummed to delay the album because it's so special to me and the perfect combination of England and Tennessee. When I put the record on it feels like medicine. I hope it does the same for you…in due time! Thanks for sticking with me. [My husband] John, [our dog] Victor and I are over the moon," she posts on her Tweeter.
