Justified Season 6: Cast Additions Include Sam Elliott and Garrett Dillahunt; Cast Will Return To Work Later This Month [PHOTO]

Entertainment Weekly reports that the FX drama "Justified" has added Sam Elliott and Garret Dillahunt to its cast in recurring roles. The drama will be premiering its 6th and final season in January 2015, and is known for delivering some of the most interesting villains on TV with actors like Walton Goggins, Margo Martindale, and Michael Rapaport.

Elliott is said to play Markham, who is a legendary gangster returning to Kentucky with a private army and loads of cash earned by growing local weed in Colorado. Cinema Blend reports that Markham is intent on taking over his former empire while also winning back his lost love, Katherine Hale (Mary Steenburgen). This might prove difficult for him, as Katherine secretly believes Markham is the rat who turned on her husband.

Dillahunt, who is known for his work in "Raising Hope," will portray Walker, a character described as a skilled special ops veteran who has spent much of his life in combat zones as a soldier and private contractor. He will be taking on work for a "quasi-legal businessman," and is supposed to have the air of a cold professional. Hopefully, we'll see some repressed rage brought to the surface when he encounters the other characters in the show.

Cinema Blend reports that Elliott was most recently seen in Ivan Reitman's "Draft Day" and a couple appearances on season 6 of "Parks and Recreation." Dillahunt has been in "Hand of God" as well as Courtney Cox's feature debut "Just Before I Go."

The Justified cast will return to work later this month, and stars Timothy Olyphant as "Deputy US Marshal Rayland Givens," a lawman who finds himself drawn back to his home state of Kentucky. The series co-stars Walton Goggins, Nick Searcy, Jacob Pitts, Erica Tazel, Joelle Carter, and Jere Burns.
