Pregnant Kate Middleton Baby Bump Deemed ‘Too Skinny,’ Morning Sickness May Be Causing Weight Loss

Pregnant Kate Middleton is the target of baby bump watch now that the public knows she is expecting baby no. 2. However, the media is calling Kate Middleton "too skinny," though doctors say her acute morning sickness may be causing involuntary weight loss.

Kate Middleton debuted her baby bump while dining at the cozy King's Head pub in Great Bircham with husband Prince William on Thursday September 11 at around 7:45 p.m. The media publication referred to the Duchess of Cambridge as "pin thin" and "too skinny," a rhetoric that is often associated with the slender mother of Prince George. Kate Middleton will be under an immense amount of scrutiny from the public and press, especially now that the everyone knows she is pregnant with her second child.

But Radar Online also notes that the pregnant Duchess is once again suffering from an acute morning sickness called hyperemesis gravidarum, the same illness she had while pregnant with Prince George.

"The brutal condition can even cause weight loss in pregnant moms-to-be, according to docs, and Middleton certainly looked especially thin," the publication writes.

Perhaps Kate's weight loss is caused by her morning sickness. In any case, Kate Middleton was forced to cancel her weekend trip to Malta with husband Prince William.

"I'm sorry you've got me instead of Catherine," he joked Saturday afternoon to hundreds of onlookers. "She's very disappointed she couldn't be here today."

When asked by a visitor how his wife was feeling, Prince William replied, "She's so-so."

Get well soon, Kate!
