Vanessa Hudgens Photo Leak: 'High School Musical' Star One Of The Latest Victims Of Hacker Plot; Actress Declines To Comment

The biggest celebrity photo-hacking scandal surfaced since nude photos of Jennifer Lawrence and Kate Upton leaked online. The Vanessa Hudgens photo leak, as well as those of other stars, have been described as a "hate crime".

In a report by News.com.au, nude photos of Rihanna, Vanessa Hudgens, Gabrielle Union and Amber Heard emerged on the internet. Similar to Jennifer Lawrence, Union contacted the FBI to investigate the matter.

Union and husband Dwyane Wade jointly stated, "It has come to our attention that our private moments, that were shared and deleted solely between my husband and myself, have been leaked by some vultures." They added, "I can't help but to be reminded that since the dawn of time women and children, specifically women of colour, have been victimised, and the power over their own bodies taken from them. These atrocities against women and children continue worldwide."

The couple stated in a report by Page Six, "For anyone out there also being affected by these and other hacking and hate crimes - we send our love, support and prayers. We have done nothing wrong."

Racy photos of Rihanna, Kim Kardashian, Hudgens and Heard, Johnny Depp's fiancé, also appeared on Reddit, 4chan and Twitter. 4chan was quick to remove the photos in conformity with its new rule on copyright infringement.

The Vanessa Hudgens photo leak reportedly featured the star fully naked. She declined to comment but sources close to her shared that she is worried that the Vanessa Hudgens photo leak might damage her career.

Over 50 photos of Amber Heard were also said to have appeared online. One of the pictures showed her holding a sign up with a message to Depp. More stolen images of stars also emerged on September 21, 2014 such as Mary-Kate Olsen, Avril Lavigne, Lake Bell, Hayden Panettiere and Kaley Cuoco, among others.

The recent leak is very likely to have been created by the same hackers who uploaded nude photos of Lawrence, Upton and other stars in August 2014.
