Rita Ora's The Voice Stint Slated; Singer To Replace Kylie Minogue

Rita Ora's "The Voice" stint has been slated and the singer will reportedly join the 2015 run of the show in replacement of previous judge Kylie Minogue.

News of Rita Ora's "The Voice" gig came out as early as August, when the "How We Do" singer reportedly turned down a one million pound offer from Simon Cowell.

Instead of joining Cowell in "The X Factor," Ora will be sitting on a red chair alongside will.i.am, Ricky Wilson and Tom Jones.

A report on the Daily Mirror said that "It has taken months of negotiations but Rita thinks the show is a much better fit for her than 'The X Factor.'"

"The Voice UK" producers were reportedly happy to have Ora on board and said in a statement: "In less than two years, Rita Ora has shot to international stardom with four number one singles in the UK and a multi-million selling debut album."

BBC One controller Charlotte Moore also gave her two cents about Ora's inclusion in the judge's panel of the contest, saying: "Rita Ora has a unique sense of style and her no nonsense attitude will really mix things up on the spinning chairs ... 2015 promises to be a good one."

Rita Ora also shared how she feels about being part of the show, saying: "So excited to be part of, and for my team to win, 'The Voice' this series! Let's have some fun, will.i.am, Tom and Ricky! I'm really looking forward to the blind auditions - and spinning in my big red chair. EXCITED!!!!"

Will.i.am spoke about the latest addition to their group and said: "Sir Tom Jones is our rock, Ricky is awesome and it's our pleasure to welcome the very talented Rita Ora. Rita is sweet, spicy and sassy - she's going to be a great addition to the Coaches team."

Rita Ora's "The Voice" gig will not be the only thing to keep the singer busy next year, apart from her music, she is also slated to appear on the film "Fifty Shades of Grey."
